#2. Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

The tramway lets you travel a little over two-and-a-half miles along the impressive cliffs of Chino Canyon. It takes you to Mount San Jacinto State Park at the elevation of 8,516 feet (2600 m). There you among other things find observation decks, a natural history museum and more than 50 miles of hiking trails.

#3. Joshua Tree National Park

So Joshua Tree National Park isn’t in Palm Springs, but it’s adjacent to Palm Springs. There you have a scenic environment great for happy days of outdoor activites, including great hiking opportunities. Especially observe the beautiful and unique joshua trees.
